The Summer of Orange is a paid summer internship program designed to enhance the student's formal education with career related experience. The programs goals and objectives will provide mutual benefits to both the student and ING DIRECT. By providing an exciting, challenging and fun internship program, we can continue to be distinguished as of one of the best companies to work for. The Summer of Orange Internship program will incorporate leadership development courses, ongoing two-way feedback, social events, an end of program written evaluation, and a final group project presentation to senior management.

Intern Responsibilities:
This intern will focus on the development, design, and implementation of information controls in the area of data loss prevention (DLP), and maintaining compliance with multiple regulatory requirements including GLBA, and PCI, as well as requirements set forth by the OTS and FINRA. This will include:
-Solid communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively via documentation, telephone, and email
-Working with the rest of the IT Security Team to ensure the physical and logical stability, reliability, confidentiality, and integrity of ING DIRECT systems is in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures and guidelines, taking appropriate actions for all violations
-Ensuring IT procedures are updated with current objectives
-Participation in other IT Security initiatives as needed
Department Summary:
The IT Security Team is responsible for the implementation of controls and delivery of services ensuring appropriate logical and physical protection of information and other assets company- wide.
