Senior Software Engineer: VTL Drivers
We have a client seeking a talented Sr. Software Engineer. This is a direct hire opportunity with one of the leaders in their industry. Should you be seeking a new challenge, this is one opportunity you will want to pursue.
Responsibilities
* The candidate will be responsible for the Fibre Channel and SCSI target drivers for our client’s VTL infrastructure. Specific responsibilities will include: * Maintain and enhance target mode FC and SCSI drivers. * Perform complete error analysis for all failure scenarios and make sure that all errors are handled correctly in the VTL sub-system. * Follow implementation through QA and Beta customer installations, ensuring quality software delivery.Requirements
* BS, MS or Ph.D. in CS/EE with at least 8+ years of software design & development * Solid knowledge in platform design, device drivers, and Linux OS kernel * Good knowledge of I/O details (PCI, SCSI, FC,). * Experience working with FC target mode drivers, preferably with QLogic HBAs. * Experience in leading a project and driving it through development. * Ability to communicate with other development teams, QA team and customers. * Highly motivated, quick learner, and a team player is a must for this opportunity.To apply directly through our Web site, click http://webconnect.sendouts.com/index.aspx?id=HireNetworks&Key=Cn&ApplyNewCan=0&PostNum=75&SiteId=Webconnect&Group=Webconnect.
