SoundEarth Strategies Inc., a multi-office environmental and water resources consulting firm headquartered in Seattle, Washington, is expanding!
This growth has created an opportunity in the Seattle office for an experienced Technical Editor/Word Processor. This position works with company Project Managers to review, format, and edit all company deliverables in accordance with established company standards. The Tech Editor will perform moderately complex word processing tasks, edit to correct sentence structure, spelling, grammar, and punctuation as well as integrate figures, tables and maps within the report structure.
Requirements: B.S., or equivalent in English, Journalism or Communication with 1-3 years experience as technical editor, proof-reader, or similar position preferably in a consulting environment. The successful candidate must have strong proficiency utilizing word processing and desktop publishing tools, excellent writing, editing and proofing skills, and be highly organized, and detailed oriented managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
