We currently have an opportunity for an Help Desk Technician II in our corporate office in Seattle, Washington. The Help Desk Support Technician II is responsible for supporting most of the company’s Information Technology communication platforms, end-user computing needs with software, hardware, broadband and break-fix requirements. Other duties include providing support for supplied hardware, supporting all communication systems (DSL, Cable Modem, networking, wireless networks, etc.), and troubleshooting and helping new users learn email and communications systems. The qualified candidate will preferably possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be an organized, detail oriented team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Minimum of three to four years of work experience with the following:
* A+ and Network + certifications (or equivalent). * Knowledge and support experience with Vista, Windows XP (home and Professional) operating systems. * Knowledge of Citrix environment. * Expertise in Microsoft Office 2000, 2007, XP, PowerPoint, Visio, Access as well as Adobe, McAfee anti-virus and remote desktop software. * Working knowledge of Outlook email client software 2000-2007. * Familiarity with administrator functionality of Windows Server 2003, basic Microsoft Active Directory/Exchange administration (permissions, creating/modifying/deleting users, mailboxes, groups.) * Broadband and VPN technology, DSL, Cable Modem, LAN’s using wired and wireless technology. * PC desktop (Dell) and laptop (Toshiba, IBM, Dell), hardware configuration, troubleshooting and board level repairs, laser and inkjet printer troubleshootin. * Must pass criminal background check.To learn more about how you can make a difference and to search for opportunities in your area, click below to visit us online.
