Position Purpose:
Our client is looking for a high energy and dynamic individual who is committed to getting the job done while identifying opportunities and making improvements. This individual will help support, monitor and maintain hardware and software systems for company store locations and Home Office. Provide technical expertise and advice to all related aspects of company. Provide support during and after regular work hours. Participate in a rotating on call schedule.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Configure, test, pack, ship, repair, support, and assist with setup and installation of POS and telecommunication systems.
2. Provide 1st and 2nd level support during and after business hours to stores and Home Office users and systems.
3. Assist senior support staff members in higher level support, monitoring, and maintenance of all IT systems to ensure they are operating and functioning properly.
4. Configure new Home Office desktop computers and laptops.
5. Document IT support processes when they are performed for the first time, changed or improved.
6. Provide support to senior team members on major IT projects as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:
Windows XP, Windows 2003/2008 Server, Linux, Citrix Presentation Server/XenApp, Apple OSX, database concepts, SQL script and query writing, and network protocols, hardware and topology.
Previous helpdesk experience preferred.
Experience with Point of Sales Machines Strong commitment to doing whatever it takes to get the job done!
BA/BS in an Information Technology related degree from an accredited institution.
Good decision making and problem solving skills and the ability to learn quickly. Must be results oriented and not need constant supervision.
A strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks while keeping the big picture in mind.
Ability to interact effectively with different personality styles. Must possess a confident communication style.
Good typing skills.

Knowledge and familiarity with personal computer hardware configuration and maintenance, Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7, and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.).
